Dear Families,
I pray you are all continuing to keep well during the lockdown. Although things are easing, for many of us much is still the same; working from home, home schooling and entertaining children. Many of us are missing family and friends. How great that we have the technology that can keep us in touch, I am now quite used to video calling family and friends and my parents even managed to have most of their face on the screen this week! I pray that those of you who are working in key roles are remaining safe.
It is Messy Church time ! The second Thursday in the month is the usual time for us to gather at TMC for Messy Church. Whilst we can not meet physically, we can still celebrate in our own homes and know that others are doing so at the same time.
Attached are some ideas for your own At Home Messy Church session. I have tried to include the type of activities we use at TMC but you can do as many of the activities as you want in any order! Please use as it fits with your family time.
I am sending out the activities today so that you will be able to prepare some of the activities and crafts. This month there is even a cooking craft that you can eat with your Messy meal!
I hope you have fun with your At Home Messy Church session and would love to be part of what you are doing. If you would like to send pictures of your Messy Church fun, please send them to us via the #tmcfamily.
Each Sunday a message, prayer and craft are available on the TMC Facebook page and S:CAPE children’s activities can be found on the TMC website.
God bless you all and keep you safe in the coming weeks,
Deborah, Ilona and the Messy Church Team.
