  • Mind the Gap Africa

    Founded in 2006 Mind the Gap’s mission is to rescue and restore children and young adults who have been orphaned or are vulnerable, from hardship, by providing them with safe residential care, comprehensive support, and a nurturing environment.

    We aspire to be a beacon of hope by extending our impact to the surrounding community and other charitable institutions in the spirit of ubuntu (togetherness).

    We started FAST in September 1998. Little did we know that the small seeds we planted in those days would grow into the “big trees” of today.  Over the years, we have known both failure and success and we have learned that all circumstances God brings our way, are in fact stepping stones to progress.
